The Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation’s “March For Memories” 5K March and 2K Stroll is an event planned for the entire family. Parents are encouraged to bring their children for the “Kids Fun Run” and to participate in this special memory-making event. Marches are planned and organized with the intention that those who have lost a loved one to breast cancer or any terminal illness have an opportunity to remember them in a unique and meaningful way while making possible the granting of wishes to others going through a difficult time in their life. Walks are generally planned the week prior to Mother’s Day in honor of mothers, grandmothers, wives, sisters and friends who have lost their lives to breast cancer.
